Combining online learning with gym based sessions

Welcome to The Academy of Fitness Training

If so, you may be interested in becoming a personal trainer with the Academy of Fitness Training (AOFT). Our organisation consists of a team of respected personal trainers who have spent many years working in all areas of the industry, and who therefore know precisely what is required for success in a very competitive industry – namely the most recognised qualifications, the right support and a white-hot determination to work hard and never give up in pursuit of a goal. If this sounds a lot like yourself, we are the perfect choice of training provider for you.

A blended approach to learning

Here at AOFT, we are great believers in the merits of blended learning, which is the term for learning partly online and partly during in-person training days. It was how our founder, Chris, acquired his personal training diploma while in the Army in his early twenties, at a time when he was busy preparing to deploy, and subsequent deploying overseas to Afghanistan.

In the knowledge that he could not commit to any formal dates or courses, Chris found that blended learning was perfect for him. We believe that it could be perfect for you, too, which is why every one of our courses is delivered in this way, providing you with the utmost ease and convenience.

How we deliver courses

While there are many people in the world who may aspire to become a personal trainer, it is also a path littered with dangers and obstacles - just ask our founder Chris, who spent his first year after qualification struggling to kick-start his career and almost giving up.

Today, Chris is a leading personal trainer with a huge client base, but he has never forgotten the early experiences that taught him the importance of the right support. This is why the AOFT has been conceived to provide not only the best quality courses and recognised qualifications at the fairest price, but also the maximum assistance possible for students to pass their course and make a successful transition to life as a professional personal trainer.

Advanced Learner Loans

If you are over 19 and have been living in the UK for the past three years you could qualify for a Government backed Advanced Learner Loan

Advanced Learner Loans are a government backed initiative that aims to provide funding for course fees for those undertaking training that will advance their careers.

If studying a level 3 or above course and are aged 19 and over at the start of the course, most people will qualify for a loan. There are no credit checks, household income is not taken into consideration and it is easy to apply.
